While we're not an all-inclusive hotel, each stay at Swell comes with a collection of thoughtful extras you won’t find at most places, all designed to enhance your experience, not inflate your bill.
WHAT’S INCLUDED IN YOUR STAY?
Welcome Drink on Arrival: Start your stay the right way, with a complimentary drink of your choice. Whether it’s a health tonic, a local wine, or something a little stronger, we’ll have it ready when you check in.
Access to Our Wellness Space: Unwind with complimentary use of our infrared sauna and Odin ice bath. It’s the perfect ritual for recovery, quiet reflection, or just resetting your system.
Yoga in the Tipi: Reconnect with your breath and body during our yoga sessions, held in the Swell Tipi. We offer a mix of slow flow and yin classes included with your stay. Note, times and days change seasonally, please ask one of our reservations team members for an updated schedule.
Reformer Pilates & Gym Access: Move your body your way. As our guest, you’ll receive access to a nearby reformer Pilates studio and fully equipped local gym, located just a short walk from Swell.
Surfboard Collection: Hit the waves with ease. Our board collection features a range of 88 Surfboards (that’s the brand, not the quantity — though we do have plenty!) available for guests to borrow during their stay. Whether you’re carving lines or catching your very first wave, we’ve got you covered.
A NOTE ON GETTING HERE & AROUND:
For those travelling by car, we offer onsite parking with complimentary unallocated spaces available for hotel guests. Please note that spots are subject to availability and have a maximum clearance of 2.2 metres. Swell is ideally located just a 5-minute walk to Main Beach, and an even shorter 1–2-minute stroll into the heart of Byron Bay. Whether you're here to surf, swim, shop, or simply soak it all in, you're right where you need to be.

Please note, Swell Hotel is strictly adults-only. While we adore the little ones, we relish the opportunity to create a calm, considered space just for grown-ups. If you're travelling with children, we'd be happy to recommend some wonderful family-friendly stays nearby.
